Eucharist

Children younger than seven who have not yet made their First Communion participate in First Communion Preparation Classes through the Religious Education Department. Click here.
Older children and adults, whether baptized or not, will generally prepare for their First Communion through the RCIA process. They will celebrate their First Communion at the Easter Vigil liturgy.

Confirmation

Baptized Catholic adults who have already received the Eucharist should participate in Adult Confirmation Classes. Some adults who have not made their First Communion, but who have been attending Mass for quite some time, might prepare for both Sacraments through the Confirmation program. The classes meet approximately twice a month from November thru May. See below for more information.
Adults who have received neither the Eucharist nor Confirmation generally participate in the RCIA process and receive Confirmation at the Easter Vigil liturgy.

Adult Confirmation Classes

If you are a baptized Catholic, have made your First Communion, are 18 years old or older and have never been confirmed, this is your opportunity to prepare yourself for the reception of this sacrament of initiation. Confirmation is the Sacrament that completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. A Catholic is not fully initiated into the Church if he or she is not confirmed. So be sure to attend one of our Discernment meetings in October.
