Members help to bring spiritual comfort, consolation, and liturgical guidance to families of our parish in times of serious illness and death.  Conctact Dorothy Hassay at (714) 968-9905 for information.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Sick and Homebound

This is a liturgical ministry since the Ministers of Holy Communion are sent forth from Mass to bring the Eucharist to those who cannot join us for Mass. To be a Minister of Holy Communion, one must be a Roman Catholic who has received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. If married, one must have received the Sacrament be Marriage in the Catholic Church. Training is conducted periodically at the parish. Ministers of Holy Communion must receive delegation by the Bishop to serve at the parish.These ministers bring the Eucharist to the sick and homebound in the Hospitals, convalescant homes and parishoner's homes.

Jail Ministry

Parishioners visit the Orange County Jails for a Communion Service or Bible Study once per month.  Please call (714) 547-7082 for more information.

Mercy House

Fr. Jerome is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Mercy House Transitional Living Centers which serves and houses homeless men, women and children in Orange County at its various facilities.

• Joseph House opened in 1990 to shelter single homeless men who are employed and who are welcomed to spend six months at the residence in order to save money and begin independent living.
• Regina House opened in April 1994 for single homeless women and their children. The women and children likewise spend at least six months in the home during which time the women can save enough money, learn parenting and other skills in order to enhance their family lives.
• Mercy House Center opened in 1999 to provide immediate care for drop-in clients.
• Emmanuel House opened in the April 2001 to serve single homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS.
• San Miguel Residence provides permanent affordable housing.

Peace and Justice Ministry

The Peace and Justice Ministry promotes the education and awareness of all Catholics in areas of social justice. We seek to understand the Church's teaching in areas such as poverty, health care reform, immigration, prison reform, the death penalty, environmental issues, solidarity, human trafficking and end of life issues. We hope to enhance, through presentations, activities and information rooted in Catholic theology, the already active social ministry of our parish.  Information and awareness are vital tools to bring along with us on our daily journey as Catholics whether it be at school, at work, at home or in the voting booth.

Respect Life

The Respect Life Committee has three major goals:

• To bring greater awareness of life issues and of services available to our parish
• To endeavor to support women in crisis pregnancies by fundraisers for the Life Centers
• To encourage more prayer and vigisl to stop abortion

Sunday Donut Ministry

Volunteers set-up coffee and donuts after Sunday Masses at 7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM .  If you are interested in this minsitry, please call (714) 842-3000 ext. 11 or email by clicking here.

Sunday Drivers

Volunteers provide rides on Sunday to the 10:00 AM Mass for parishioners in convalescent hospitals or senior apartments.  Contact Mary Ann Kelly at (714) 842-4593 for more information.
