| "If you want peace, work for justice" Pope Paul VI The Peace and Justice Ministry promotes the education and awareness of all Catholics in areas of social justice. We seek to understand the Church's teaching in areas such as poverty, health care reform, immigration, prison reform, the death penalty, environmental issues, solidarity, human trafficking and end of life issues. We hope to enhance, through presentations, activities and information rooted in Catholic theology, the already active social ministry of our parish. Information and awareness are vital tools to bring along with us on our daily journey as Catholics whether it be at school, at work, at home or in the voting booth. View Fr. Richard Benson's power point presentation on social justice |
